Mary H. Walker, BA, Mental Health Specialist
Mary H. Walker is a Mental Health Specialist with more than 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, judgment-free space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Mary believes that healing begins with connection—and that each person already has strengths within them that can be nurtured, developed, and reclaimed.
Mary works with teens, adults, seniors, couples, and families navigating stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and peer or family dynamics. She enjoys helping clients strengthen coping skills, build emotional resilience, and develop confidence in their daily lives. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in Motivational Interviewing, meeting clients exactly where they are and helping them move toward where they want to be.
Mary also has experience working with single mothers, veterans, and individuals who are Deaf or part of the Deaf-Allied community. When requested, she can integrate Christian-based support for clients who wish to include faith as part of their healing process.
Outside of her work, Mary enjoys reading, meaningful conversations, and fully embraces the restorative power of a good nap.
