Katie Brewer is a Master of Social Work intern who cares deeply about helping individuals and families feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Before stepping into social work, Katie spent over ten years as a special education teacher and case manager, where she walked alongside students and families navigating unique challenges and celebrating their strengths. As a foster parent, she also learned firsthand about the impact of trauma and grief and understands how difficult it can be to find mental health support, especially in rural communities.

Katie's approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered, believing that every person deserves culturally responsive care that honors their experiences and values. She is especially passionate about supporting clients in virtual settings, making therapy more accessible no matter where life has placed them. With empathy, strong communication, and ongoing clinical training, her commitment is to help you work toward healing and growth.
