Harley Spencer, Practicum
Hello there! My name is Harley Spencer, and I am currently completing my MSW at UKY. I’m a Kentucky girl through and through, so if you decide to work with me, be warned you’re bound to hear my good ol’ country accent. I hope that it just adds a little extra charm in every session!
As a therapist, my passion for helping people drives my mission to provide compassionate support and guidance as individuals navigate life's challenges. My overall goal is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can experience healing, growth, and personal empowerment, no matter what you're facing.
I have specfic experience working with women, teenagers/young adults, and individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and disordered eating. My passion for these areas grew during my time spent at an eating disorder clinic, where I had the privilege of supporting individuals through their recovery process. This experience deepened my commitment to helping those struggling with these specific challenges and reinforced my belief in the power of healing and transformation.
I welcome all individuals, regardless of background or religious perspective. For clients who wish to integrate faith into their therapeutic journey, I offer an optional Christian-based approach.
Together, we can explore how your faith can support your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Understanding that every client is unique, I take a client-centered approach to ensure that the care I provide is specifically tailored to your individual needs. Whether you're seeking healing from past wounds, guidance through a difficult season, or practical tools to improve your mental health, I am here to walk alongside you.
