Ms. Tara Harris, MSSW, LMSW, LCDC-I
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over 15 years of experience working with adolescents, families, and foster youth. My passion is helping young people and parents navigate life’s challenges while building stronger, healthier relationships.
I specialize in trauma, parent–child dynamics, and supporting foster youth as they work toward stability and resilience. I am currently under clinical supervision as I work toward obtaining my LCSW.
I am especially passionate about working with clients who struggle with depression and anxiety, creating a safe and supportive environment where they can process emotions, develop coping strategies, and build confidence in their ability to thrive.
My therapy approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and strengths-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Theory to help clients shift negative thought patterns, strengthen coping skills, and improve communication.
I also incorporate mindfulness and psychoeducation to reduce stress and promote self-awareness. Above all, I strive to create a compassionate space where adolescents, parents, and families can heal from trauma, overcome challenges, and discover new pathways toward growth and positive change.
