Hello, my name is Elvia Islas and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I have 2 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and military Veterans both in inpatient settings, as well as in environmental settings. In therapeutic practice I take a Client-Centered Approach and apply a variety of methods depending on the clients needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or Trauma-Focused Therapy. I have a passion for working with Veterans, families, and individuals who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, stress, and depression.
