Breyona Johnson, Practicum
Hi everyone,
My name is Breyona Johnson and I am a Practicum Intern pursuing my Master of Social Work degree at Howard University. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling and Human Services. I have experience working with children and families experiencing depression, anxiety, domestic violence, and disparities in access to basic resources to help them thrive and live a hopeful life.
I believe that a “healthy outside begins with a healthy inside”. I utilize modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Brief Therapy, strengths-based, and person-centered practices, to help you create and live a healthier life. As you are the expert of your life experience, I am here to support you as we work together to identify and achieve your goals.
I look forward to working with you on your journey!
