Sarah Stone, MSW
Hi, I’m Sarah Stone and I’m passionate about helping people discover their strengths and use them to navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, stress, ADHD, work-life balance struggles, and life transitions. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
“Life can be messy and unpredictable, but it’s also filled with opportunities for growth and transformation. I’m here to help you navigate those ups and downs, offering encouragement, empathy, and practical tools to help you thrive.” - Sarah
I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, those neurodivergent individuals who might be struggling with ADHD stress management, work life balance, couples transitions in life, you name it, I'm here to help. During our first session, you can expect us to get to know each other, to figure out if we're a good fit.
And honestly. That's the best advice I can give somebody that's new to this therapy process. I really hope that you and I are going to click and work together, but you need to trust your gut and realize that you're an equal partner in this relationship, and trust the process. It's scary. I get it. I've needed people along the way to help me on my own journey, and I'm here to hopefully be that person for you. Find the person you click with, and continue that process.
The positive feedback I've gotten from clients is that I'm honest and I'm authentic. And I really hope that my clients feel that they can show up in the same way, that they can be exactly who they are in this moment with me. I'm here to help. I'm here to be that person, to be that soundboard.
My favorite quote is that we can't wait for life to be perfect for us to be happy. Life is messy. Life is complicated and things happen outside of our control. And all we can do is the best that we can. And I'm here to help you with whatever those struggles may be.
The self care is so important. It's something that I've struggled with my whole life. And honestly, until the past year, I haven't really figured out that balance and I'm still working on it. So if I were a book, my story would be Title Unwritten, just like that Natasha Bedingfield song, because I no longer let chapters define my entire story.
Things happen, and we have to keep going. This world is such a better place with you in it, and I'm here to help you realize your potential, your growth, your goals. I'm here to be that person for you. I hope that after a session with me, clients feel empowered to make the changes that they seek in their life, that they feel heard, that they feel like there is somebody in their corner.
Some people have an army behind them and some people have no one. I'm here to be that someone to help motivate you along this journey. Five words that could describe me as a mental health provider would be motivated, empathetic, understanding, authentic, and determined. I really look forward to working with you to help reach whatever goal it is, whatever those struggles may be.
I hope that I can be that person to help you reach that finish line or to continue this journey I call life. My name is Sarah. I am doing my practicum here with Kinder Mind and I look forward to working with you.
